Bartoline Tx10 Paint Stripper 2.5L

Bartoline TX10 Paint Stripper 2.5L TX10 is a high-performance paint and varnish stripper specially formulated to penetrate and strip multiple paint layers. Its methylene-chloride free, non-flammable formulation has minimal evaporation that continues to work and does not 'flash off'. Non-caustic, and non-drip it is ideal for vertical surfaces and less accessible areas and is suitable for indoor and outdoor application. Preparation: Read label fully before use. Wear protective gloves. Protect floor coverings, textiles, and surfaces you do not want to come into contact with the stripper. Suitable for use on wood and masonry, and most metal substrates. Test a small, inconspicuous area of metals, plastics and other substrates to determine compatibility. Ensure surfaces to be stripped are dry. ENSURE THE CONTAINER IS SECURELY CLOSED AND SHAKE CONTAINER WELL BEFORE USE. Application: Pour a quantity of TX10 into a suitable container. Apply a generous, thick even coat by brush onto the surface to be stripped at a rate of 1 litre per square metre. Do not brush out. Leave for approximately 1 hour until the product reacts with the paint or varnish and apply a second coat of stripper using a dabbing motion. For areas where there are fewer than 5 layers of paint or varnish, a second coat may not be necessary. Leave until the stripper has softened the coating and scrape-off using a shave hook. Repeat the process if necessary*. Rub down the stripped area with a scrubbing brush. DO NOT USE WIRE WOOL. Wash down the stripped area with detergent and water. Rinse with clean water and allow to dry. Technical: Bartoline TX10 strips most solvent and water borne paint and varnishes including polyurethane varnishes. STORE IN A COOL, DRY PLACE. PROTECT FROM FROST. Dispose of any unused product and packaging responsibly in accordance with local and national regulations. *For maximum effect, where there is a significant number of paint-layers to be removed, cover the applied TX10 with plastic sheeting and leave for 6-8 hours prior to scraping.
