The DBO480Z is a cordless ¼ sheet Finishing Sander, for stress free sanding without the worry of a power lead, powered by 18V Li-ion LXT slide type battery (not included), to supply energy to the powerful 18V motor, with 2 speeds, to deliver 22,000 to 28,000 sanding strokes per minute and 11,000 to 14,000 orbits per minute for fast and smooth finish sanding. The DBO480Z is equipped with hook and loop or clamp paper fastening system, 2 speed electronic speed controlled by push button; the speed can be selected according to the work material and application, conveniently located on/off switch for easier one-handed operation, large clamping lever for quick and easy paper installation, efficient through the pad dust collection system and features self-dust collection; dust collection facility (dust bag, forced dust collection) and is directly connectable to a Makita Vacuum Cleaner. The DBO480Z is compatible with the base and 4 optional pads used for current corded Makita models; square pad with hook and loop fastening, square pad without hook and loop fastening, rectangular pad for louvered door sanding with hook and loop fastening and extended, triangular pad for louvered door sanding with hook and loop fastening.
