Over time, it will mature and produce delicate cream flowers.For initial growth, maintain frost-free conditions and acclimatise the plant to the outdoors over seven to ten days before planting. Cordylines flourish in fertile, well-drained soil in a sheltered, sunny location. They particularly enjoy mild coastal environments and benefit from well-rotted manure incorporated into the soil during planting. Regular feeding and watering are essential until the plant is fully established.Once established, Cordylines require minimal attention but need winter protection if temperatures fall below -5°C (23°F).
