Product Description

Echinacea plants produce striking blooms with petals that radiate from a deep-brown central cone, providing colour from July to September. These tall-stemmed flowers are ideal for cut flower arrangements and are great for attracting bees and butterflies, making them a perfect addition to cottage and wildlife gardens. To grow, pot the plants and nurture them in frost-free conditions until they are large enough to be transplanted outdoors. Acclimatise the plants gradually to outdoor conditions over seven to ten days before planting in garden borders. Echinacea thrives in sunny or semi-shaded locations with moist, well-drained soil. They prefer deep, fertile soil, so enrich the soil with well-rotted manure or garden compost before planting.During the growing season, water and feed the plants regularly until they are fully established. Deadhead faded flowers to encourage further blooms. In autumn, cut back the faded flower stems and apply a layer of well-rotted manure as mulch around the plant's base. Divide the plants in autumn or spring if overcrowding occurs. Please note: The images are for illustrative purposes only and showcase the expected results upon maturity. Results may vary based on growing conditions. Images may also show seasonal variations, as deciduous plants lose their leaves in colder months.
