Wheatlands Farm Wacky Warehouse

My granddaughter had a children's meal which was cold I had to send it back, I ordered chicken meal with chips and peas Chips again cold and peas were colder than cold and like bullets so hard, I ordered a side dish of macaroni cheese...well even my granddaughter turned her nose up, it looked like a meal for a baby in a very small dish and it was lukewarm sent that back too! Then I got two bottles of coke I was charged £3 each! So charged for a pint and I didn't get a glass just the plastic bottles! Because we had to reorder the granddaughters meal she never got her ice cream from her meal deal either and nope no refund there either! Very disappointed overall I complained to the deputy manager and got my main meal refunded but not my side dish that I couldn't eat! And I got the excuse of we have had a rush, I said it didn't look that busy and if the chef couldn't handle half a full pub and get food out hot then there was issues with his staffing, no excuses. My granddaughter loved the ball pool so I didn't make a fuss in front of her or my daughter but I most definitely would not eat here again id bring my granddaughter to play area but only have a drink and maybe get her some ice cream she didn't get off her children's meal! I expected a bit more than what I got to be honest. It's £4.50 per child for the ball pool and at peak times you get 1hr 30mins it is a lovely area and the granddaughter loved it as did all the other children there and you can't really put a price on a child's happiness but if you ordering food surely a discount wouldn't go a miss would it!? A small percentage off maybe. Not the best experience but it made a child happy so I will keep stars for that reason.

Decent menu with plenty of choice. Food came reasonably quickly and what we had was very good (especially the veggie sausage and mash!!) The service was also really good and very friendly. Given the Wacky Warehouse element not a place to go if you don’t like kids running around while you’re eating (although we did now notice there is an over 18s area)

Really lovely friendly and patient staff helping me with the grandchildren just down from Scotland. Thank you for looking after us Ella 😊 and later on Ann. The girls played a really long time and had such fun. The whole place is beautifully run and kept spotlessly clean. Such a brilliant place to keep active kids entertained and the food was great from a fab kids' menu. All in all a fantastic afternoon, thank you.

Just amazing from start to finish!! Attended for my 4th granddaughters birthday party. 17 children all together! Hayley and Ella are super professional, nothing was any trouble. I literally had a full two hour break!! Bliss!!! Food plentiful, with meat and veggie options and lots left over. Had 5 (including my child) children with additional needs attend. The girls were outstanding in their understanding and accommodating to ensure a fab time was had by all.

Lady behind the counter was fab and very informative of everything. Good price for soft play
