Great little spot to check out a bit of history, now just a small green spot of land in the middle of a housing estate.
Lovely old concrete sound mirror next to housing estate. Good sign about it. Cracked concrete now but it is old and still here.
This acoustic mirror has stood here since 1914 with no one listening to it. It is a monument to our ingenuity our attempt at gaining the upper hand and deserves to be recognized and talked about
Outstanding historic structure
Clever bit of engineering, now located In a housing estate! Took my son to see it and we had a really good hour looking at it and googling his questions. Only found it by chance having stayed locally the night before.
