Garden Cottage, Middleham. Yorkshire Dales

We had a lovely stay at this very comfortable cottage in Middleham. The cottage is extremely well equipped and comfortable - the only issue we had during our stay was a problem opening the back door but this was resolved within an hour - an HOUR!! The welcome pack was generous and interesting and much appreciated. There were plenty of logs for a couple of fires, books to read, maps and local information. Set in a private lane, we dropped our things off before parking the car a couple of minutes walk away. We loved Middleham and it’s interesting to see the racehorses out and about in their way to the gallops or back to the many stables in the town. Thanks so much for making our first trip to this part of Yorkshire so enjoyable!

We had the most wonderful stay at Kent Cottage for my birthday in January, the added bonus was the snow and sunshine! Leanne was so helpful with information beforehand on good walks, and places to eat. The cottage was so lovely, fitted out with the most beautiful furnishings. The hamper basket and wine was divine and most welcome. We ate in Middleham at Richard III on our first night, which was a busy friendly pub serving good pub grub. On the Saturday we walked to East Witton and ate at the Blue Lion. It was very special and a big treat. Again another friendly welcome. You won’t be disappointed booking either cottage. You will be well looked after by Leanne, and a warm welcome by everyone you meet in Middleham. Our dog Dotty also loved the doggy treats. Thanks for making a dull January a brighter one!

We had a wonderful week in this gorgeous cottage which has been lovingly maintained with lots of attention to detail like under floor heating, a wood burner, treats for the dogs and great water pressure- all little things that make such a difference to your stay. Thanks so much to Leanne also for the fantastic book of local recommendations which we heavily relied on to explore the beautiful surroundings- so many lovely walks and pubs to visit.

We had an amazing weekend at Kent Cottage. The place is beautifully designed and decorated. Whilst there is snowed so the fabulous log burner made the cottage magical. David & Leannes recommendations were perfect & thoughtful. Sunday lunch at The Saddle Room was the best ever. Wouldn't hesitate to come back. We also think we might try the other accommodations they has as all look equally as wonderful as the other.

We spent a lovely few days at garden cottage. Absolutely stunning. Everything was just perfect. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you need and to such a high standard. Beds are so comfortable and the linen was so luxurious, it was like I was sleeping in the clouds. The bathroom was also fully equipped with super soft towels and beautiful toiletries. Would definitely come back.
