We visited Lindmar house to have a look around the shop and meet the new owners who kindly showed us around the beautiful rooms of the accommodation too. The gift shop is more than just another "shabby chic" gift shop - it is full of beautiful, unique pieces from Danish, hand made toys to antique home pieces and beautiful printed cards and art. Everything is affordable but made with care. The accommodation is also tastefully finished with beautiful, light rooms decorated to a high standard. A very clean, welcoming and unique place to visit - a romantic, nostalgic escape to the country!
Me and my husband stayed here on 19th November 2017. The guest house is very nice and we had a lovely bedroom to stay in. The breakfast was very good, the hosts were a lovely couple. The Christmas mice we bought from there shop look nice in our summer house, hope to visit again in the future.
Wonderful hospitality. Beautiful room overlooking the main square. We stayed in room 3 which had the biggest bed I have ever slept in, so comfortable. Bathroom lovely. Everything you could want. Breakfast superb, lots of variety, fresh fruit, cereal, fruit compot/fool and of course full English. Would recommend to everyone. Thank you for your hospitality.
Unique Georgian house with only 3 guest bedrooms. Lots of antique furniture and plenty of character. Comfortable beds, great breakfast, chatty hosts, nothing to fault.
