Anytime Fitness Leeds Moor Allerton

When I first joined Anytime Fitness Leeds Moor Allerton two years ago, the gym was in great condition and very well maintained. Unfortunately, over the past year it has gone downhill. Several machines have been out of order or missing basic parts for months. In particular, the small clips that connect the cable machines to the handles have been missing for a long time. These clips cost just a few pounds online, so I really don’t understand why they haven’t been replaced. Whether they were lost or taken, the result is the same — members can’t use the equipment properly. I’ve raised this issue with staff at least two or three times and also sent several emails, but never received any reply. The gym doesn’t need to be fancy, but the basic equipment should at least be functional. I hope the management can take this feedback seriously and improve maintenance and communication.

I went to Moorallerton Anytime fitness Leeds wanting to make my son a member. This was part of his Christmas present a years membership. They took my banking details for direct debit payments. On finding out afterwards that he needed to be 18 for public liability insurance we were told je could not be a member so he then joined active Leeds. Thos did not stop anytime fitness however trying to get payment from my bank which is fraudulent or theft and now they still keep sending us messages for payment plus charges for non payment when he is not a member. He hasnt stepped foot in the premises once. Anyway are they not shutting down soon to make way for a LIDL. Steer clear a bunch of cowboys.

I joined Anytime Fitness Leeds (Bridgewater Place) on what I was told was a three-month membership, having confirmed over the phone with their team that no further payments would be taken after that period. Despite this, the gym continued to charge me beyond the agreed term. When I raised this, the manager refused to refund the payments, hiding behind the small print of a signed agreement rather than acknowledging the incorrect information given by their own staff at the point of sale. The club’s attitude toward accountability has been poor, and their approach to customer service feels defensive rather than fair. It’s disappointing to see a national brand ignore basic consumer rights and show so little willingness to do the right thing. If you’re considering joining, get everything in writing and don’t rely on what you’re told verbally — unfortunately, this club doesn’t seem to stand by its word.

Broken running machines 2 of which you cannot run on as the belt slips. Been like this for months and not fixed. Touch screen alignment off which makes it almost impossible to select the right options. The gym itself is not clean to a respectable standard. Sadly there is no appetite to fix any broken machines, when speaking to other members also voice the same concerns. One star is generous.

Great experience at Anytime Fitness! I hadn’t been in a while, but the friendly staff made me feel right at home and were happy to help with any queries. The gym is quite popular and stays busy throughout the day, but it’s well-managed, and other members are always happy to share the equipment. I usually come at night, and there are always some members around, which makes me feel safe knowing others are there late as well. Highly recommend!
