We booked a long time ago and had confirmation that we were booked on Muston Grange. In fact we were on their fairly newly acquired and run down site next door. Appreciating that when we arrived it was pretty busy, but given the amount of time it had been since we booked (so having an expectation of not the worst pitch); we found ourselves on possibly the area with the worst pitches (next to the road, shaded by tall trees at the part of the site where the wind howls across the open fields from the sea) After the weekend lots of folk went home. So imagine our surprise when people were put either side of us, on a site with very few people on it, in the worst part of the site. Words fail me! Shame really as we have stayed in a few of the Flower of May sites and have been very impressed, not this time 😕

Thumbs up from us! Last minute booking and we enjoyed every second. Great layout, helpful staff, basic but clean facilities, lovely calm atmosphere, close to everything if wanted to explore. We will be back very soon!

Great little site have stayed serval times over the last few years, friendly helpful staff, just a short walk from the beach, and town centre, quiet location.First visit after being newly acquired, improvements have been made but toilet block although clean and tidy could do with modernising, also unfortunately pitches are really cramped especially with big twin axle van.

We paid £2000 for a seasonal pitch in March, by May we had left. We were looking forward to enjoying a season here, but every time we visited our tourer, we were told off by the male worker. Firstly, for speeding, maybe we had got up to 11mph? Then for having guide ropes for awning just on the grass, as opposed to the gravel, next speeding again, also told my husband he had been weaving in and out of caravans, which he most definitely had not, I was in the car with him. He also told my husband he had already asked someone to leave the week before, he was very threatening and unpleasant, which in my opinion is the absolute opposite of what a professional warden should be . We felt very uncomfortable and ill at ease, so much so that we feared what would be the next complaint. We were sure that we would have been asked to leave so we made the decision to leave and forfeit our money. I wonder if that is the intention, so they can make money time and again with people leaving. We received £500 back, as the condition was we were charged on a daily rate for the time we arrived until the time we vacated. We certainly felt sad that we left, as although there is nothing on the site, it was well placed to be able to walk into Filey, it was quiet and never too busy so should have been comfortable, but we were made to feel so uncomfortable. You must be aware, this of course is only our experience, many people seem to be fine, but alas it seems our faces just didn't fit. We also told them out drain was blocked on the very first day, and upon leaving, it was still blocked!
