Looking for a festive adventure for the whole family? This December the Tropical Butterfly House Wildlife Conservation Park near Sheffield is going to be a winter wonderland! From meeting Santa to finding those mischievous elves here’s why this should be on your Xmas list.

A Woodland Wonderland awaits 🌲

From 30th November to Christmas Eve Santa’s Woodland Grotto will be the hub of the park. In a magical woodland cabin Santa will be waiting to meet the kids and spread some Xmas cheer every weekend and during the final few days before Christmas. But the fun doesn’t stop there!

You’ll get to wander the park with your Elf Explorer Passport, collecting stamps, completing challenges and learning fun facts about animals from around the world. Complete the trail and you’ll get a sweet treat—because what’s an adventure without a reward?

The event isn’t just about meeting Santa—it’s a full Xmas extravaganza. Families can:

• Write to Santa (he’s got a special post box for you).
• Collect special reindeer food to take home.
• Make a wish at the Xmas Wishing Tree.
• Take a selfie with the giant Polar Bear—add in some snow for extra Xmas magic!

Don’t forget to hop on the festive tractor-trailer ride, sing along with the reindeer carols, and watch the animal antics show where the elves get up to all sorts of mischief. And there’s a Christmas pudding hunt with prizes to be won!

Cosy comforts at Lottie’s Coffee Lounge ☕

Once you’ve explored the park Lottie’s Coffee Lounge is the perfect place to warm up. Treat yourself to festive favourites like Gingerbread or Biscoff Lattes or go all out with a creamy Irish Cream Hot Chocolate. For the kids there are themed picnic boxes (pre-book for £7.95).
