Warner Hotels - Nidd Hall

The restaurant is crowded and tables are very close together. There appears to be an unknown criteria to get a table in the restaurant, and if you don't know what this is , there is a wait to find one. Food is reasonable, but lacks previous selections. It runs out and then staff have to be found to top it up. Swimming pool is lovely, a little cool perhaps. Some activities are now chargeable. The place was lovely and warm. Some staff are lovely whilst others are apathetic. Entertainment is good especially the priverledge of the Opera Boys being on Saturday. Car parking is a bit chaotic. Beds were not compatible with a bad back. Bar staff are friendly.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms spacious. Food very good and plentiful. Table service, especially from Edmund and Rhys was excellent. Facilities again very good. Entertainment throughout our stay performed by team who as well as giving enjoyment to us, we're enjoying in what they were doing.

Wonderful location. Plenty of places to visit in the local areas such as Ripon, Brimham Rocks. Weather was pretty dismal with heavy rain but we still found things to do. Food was excellent with good choices for everybody. Restaurant staff very pleasant and helpful. We had a signature room on the ground floor which was clean and comfortable. The downside was the parking arrangements some rooms had allocated parking and some didn't. We didn't even though we had a upgraded room and my partner was in a wheelchair. We have a bluebadge which was pretty useless as they only have very limited disabled parking...around 6 bays ,i think for the whole hotel. Arrival day was chaotic and found it almost impossible to park and was forced to park in a allocated bay temporarily while i unloaded the wheelchair and luggage. Did manage to find a place later that evening. You would think Warners you would have more disabled bays when you consider the majority of your guests are in a more senior age range. It didn't help that one of the lifts was out of order either. Due to the parking situation i don't think we will be visiting Nidd Hall again unfortunately.

Very bad experience at Nidd Hall. Staff were lovely, food lovely and the shows are good. Unfortunately the management do not seem to understand the concept of customer service. I have been many times but I think I will pass this now. That is the politest way I can put it. Norovirus seems to be an issue.

A lovely hotel with beautiful grounds and scenery. All staff were friendly and caring and were very professional regardless of their role. We had a signature room overlooking the grounds which was very comfortable and the small fridge, treats and the safe was excellent. Some of the areas of the hotel were a little tired and need some decoration update but their were staff in areas of the hotel who were in this role and working very hard. eg decorators, fitting new carpets etc. The hotel is very big as we are older people it took awhile for us to find our way around but with maps and staff guidance it got easier. Excellent entertainment every day and night and some activities you could join in with during the day if you wished to.
