Played today booking through GolfNow, arrived there to be told the greens were being spiked and in all honesty the ones that had been spiked werent worth putting on as you never got it anywhere near the hole. My fault was not reading that it was a 9 hole course but you live and learn. I imagine its decent in the summer but wouldn't play again.
Footgolf: great day out playing footgolf. Very good 9 hole course wasn't too wet even though it had rained the night before. Only suggestion is that the path running next to it is fenced off. My ball went down there twice and was a struggle to get back up haha.
Nice golf course, shame about the staff. When returning the fairway mats we’d hired, we was made to feel unwelcome as we’re new to golf, telling us that we’d taken too long to do 9 holes. We was told that there is a members competition on a Saturday morning so we should’ve booked in the afternoon. So why is there slots still available for non members to book or why not stipulate that there is competition every Saturday morning? As soon as we arrived we was told we’d have to tee off quickly as they was already behind schedule. I appreciate the fact that there was a members competition but if you aren’t happy with new golfers coming to play on a Saturday morning that should be made clear.
Think we met the staff member mentioned in an other bad review. "Greeted" by a scruffy dressed staff member who advised we couldnt play because of how we were dressed, bit ironic to be fair. "i've worked here 10 years!" he announced (like this is an accomplishment for a middle aged man 😂) Anyways, it is a good course, been going 2 or 3 times a year for about 5 years.... Never met this man Karen before....thankfully. Shame though as this is my local course🤷 10 years has taken its toll on the guy clearly....🤣
Nice little 9 hole course. Not the most challenging but greens in good condition.
