This May Half Term, families in Yorkshire are invited to saddle up for a thrilling adventure at William’s Den, an award-winning play attraction nestled in the picturesque Yorkshire Wolds. From Saturday 23rd May to Sunday 31st May 2026, the Wild Country Round-Up will transform the Den into a vibrant playground filled with exciting activities, ensuring that children of all ages can enjoy a full day of fun and laughter.

Wild Country Round-Up Activities

The Wild Country Round-Up promises an action-packed experience, where children can engage in various hands-on activities and unlimited play. Families can look forward to:

  • Meeting Cowboy William - The friendly cowboy will be roaming around, ready for photos and surprises.

  • Tin Can Alley - A fun target game where young adventurers can test their aiming skills.

  • Hobby Horse Derby - A thrilling race to see who can gallop to victory.

  • Welly Wanging - A popular challenge where participants fling wellies to see who can throw the farthest.

  • Cowboy Line Dancing - Join in the daily sessions and learn some easy dance moves.

  • The Big Water Fight - An exciting showdown between outlaws and sheriffs, perfect for cooling off on a warm day.

  • Country Hoedown Disco - Dance the night away under the stars, with music for both kids and adults.

Food and Camping Options

To keep energy levels high, visitors can enjoy William’s Den’s newly launched menu, which features fresh seasonal dishes and family favourites. After a day filled with activities, families can refuel with delicious meals designed to satisfy hungry adventurers.

For those looking to extend their adventure, May also marks the reopening of William’s Den Camping. Families can choose from various accommodation options including spacious pitches for tents and caravans, as well as cosy bell tents. The campsite is conveniently located just moments away from the Den’s adventure play areas, allowing for an easy transition from daytime fun to a night under the stars.

Ticket Information

Tickets for the Wild Country Round-Up start from:

  • £17.05 for children aged 3 and above

  • £14.95 for children aged 1–3

  • £12.85 for adults

  • £11.80 for seniors

Family bundle tickets are also available for selected dates, offering great value for those planning to visit together. It is advisable to book tickets early to secure preferred dates, as the event is expected to be popular.
