Just been to see a brilliant authentic performance of Goodnight Mr Tom at Ossett Town Hall. Good to see a company developing young talent. The actors who played Mr Tom and William were first class but that does not distract from the other people who participated. Anyone who lives in Ossett and likes theatre productions but has not seen this production has missed a treat!!. Looking forward to Educating Rita . Well done to all involved.
It's a good place to visit when there's a flea market on inside. Usually Tuesdays and Fridays, same days as the outside market. Lots of friendly cafés, bake shops etc in the buildings surrounding the square.
Excellent small venue for seeing live bands, numerous car parks nearby which are free after 6pm.
We had an amazing time photographing Alan & Sarah's wedding at the Ossett Town Hall :)
It was nice to see most of the market stalls occupied and plenty of people shopping. It's good park ing for 2 hours free, just get a ticket from the ticket machine press the button to get a free parking ticket.
