Bought 2 non alcoholic drinks. Both tasted terrible. Bar staff were polite and did replace both drinks. The drinks still smelt and tasted bad. A chemical, very unpleasant , bubblegum kind of odour.. Charging £3.20 per pint is expensive for a place in such a small town. Although we did get a refund,( in cash, after paying by card ? ) we were disappointed. Such a basic thing for a pub to get its drinks right. After some research i discover this pub, and the betting shop next door are owned by the same company. Enough said. We wont be going back !
Visited her while we were in the area visiting friends. The staff were friendly, they had unfortunately run out of the drinks that we wanted so had to find something else to drink but we enjoyed our evening there. We were there Saturday evening and late Sunday afternoon after the ladies football, it was very quiet on the Sunday after the football
Used to call in after walking the dog. Went in the other day for the first time since reopening. No dogs allowed. With the amount of people in you'd think they wouldn't be turning any customers away.
Great to see this local pub back open. The breakfasts here are very nice and very good value for money. Full breakfast and Veggie breakfast in pics
