Best pub on 'healey road'. A mix of modern and traditional, very clean, very friendly, great atmosphere. Outdoor seating available with a heated section. Plenty of choice for drinks and a must for Ale drinkers. Coffee also available. Food amazing with a Tuesday tapas themed night. Sandwiches available but only limited days/times. Only slight con are some guest who don't control their dogs.

A bug bear is that the tables are too small. Four of us ate. We got 4 pizzas and a couple sides but we struggled to find room on the table for the food and drinks. It was a bit of a juggling act. The pizza was really good but unfortunately they weren't piping hot at the table. The wings and the chips were which makes me think the pizza was waiting in the kitchen for the sides. Two of us had the pepperoni which comes with hot honey on it. It's really nice but when the pizza isn't piping hot and the cold sauce is added in lashings it's soon too cold. It feels like the seating/service is quite disorganised, there aren't any table numbers you just get a spoon when you order so there's a possibility that you're pizza walks around the place whilst the server tries to find you. I'll go again because the foundations are there for it to be great, just need to tighten up on a few bits

What’s not to like. Have been a regular visitor for decades but the pub was very tatty. They did an amazing revamp- the previously smallish appearing pub is now massive. They did the very difficult- totally revamped it but kept the character and features. Incredibly thoughtful and careful project oversight, a triumph. The beer is the best, the pizzas are fabulous (had to laugh one person gave them a poor review, they are fantastic), the landlord is a gent. Think they have 12 hand pumps on, many more taps, see photos. Would like to see some less heavily hopped beers, at least one on every time. Probably my favourite pub in the UK, and I get about a lot on business.

Beautiful pub, new renovation has been done to the best quality and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Had two wood fired pizzas which were absolutely delicious. Food arrived quickly and service was spot on. Highly recommend and will be coming again!

Having been to The Brewers 7 or 8 times this year and aways enjoyed it I was very surprised how poor it was on this visit, the pizzas were dry, cold and very little toppings on and I couldn’t really see any cheese at all, we sent them back to be reheated which just made them even drier, apparently they’ve got a new Chef so it could be that or the management have told them to cut back on toppings, it seems such a shame considering how good it use to be, we won’t be going again for sometime if we do ever do go back
