Cafe Vie The Bistro

I was having some work done on my van in the local area and needed a place to stay for an hour or so out of the rain. This place was lovely. Very welcoming, cheerful and friendly staff, clean, lovely fresh coffee and the French toast. Omg I’d drive the hour and half for that again. On another note, the customers! Everyone spoke and was really pleasant. What a lovely crowd in this place. Thank you for being lovely. Ps I think the puppy loved the attention too haha.

Lovely spot for brunch! The food at Cafe Vie is absolutely amazing. The place is bright, clean, and welcoming, and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful with their recommendations. I tried one of the Christmas specials, the Festive Crumpetier and it was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. A perfect festive treat and a place I’d happily return to. 🎄✨

Came for a birthday breakfast this morning with my family. Service was excellent and food was deliciously good. A great choice of breakfast options. It was hard to choose, but that just means I will have to come back to try more! We had a table for 7 upstairs and the staff treated us with a birthday card and an extra treat at the end. Thank you cafe vie!

Amazing food and service. Breakfast & lunch is always on point… However, the best thing they do is the around the world tapas at the end of each month, showcasing around 7-8 different small plates of food from various countries. It’s an evening meal and it changes every time. We’ve been 4 times now and it’s absolutely delicious and very well priced!!! A must try… check out the website for each coming months menu.

Our 3rd trip to this bistro and wish we had more time as we would probably live here... the food is outstanding, the service is second to none and the decor is comfortable yet modern. We had eggs benedict with salmon, eggs benedict with ham and then a black forrest French toast with strawberries and cream that was more like a doorstop of the best type of dense yet fluffy cake.... it was unreal. I was full to my eyebrows but would have ordered and ate it all again just for the flavour. We also had some chai latte (cinnamon coffee drink) - I hate coffee but ended up enjoying 2 of these... theyre truly next level. Charlie p our server, eventhough he had only been there for a couple of weeks was absolutely fantastic. Him and his team were so on the ball it was unreal. He was extremely friendly and felt like a long lost friend, yet still gave us our space to enjoy the food and setting. He was very quick to help with anything and catered to all our needs - he is a superstar in the making and such an assett to the bistro vie. We made sure to tip generously for everyone's efforts as it was all totally sublime. Amazing place, amazing staff and amazing food!
