As visitors to Ossett it was Hobson's choice as far as eating was concerned as it was the only sit-in restaurant open on a Sunday evening. All ended well though: the staff were polite and friendly, the restaurant clean and the food freshly prepared, tasty & good value (price per head includes a bottle of house wine & dessert)
The food was absolutely awful Chips were hollow and was just hard shell Starter was mushy and swimming in oil and the chicken inside the curry was rubbery And the curry had about 5 bits of chicken in it . Me and my cousin was splitting the bill and the man decided to give himself a tip was my own fault for not checking though suppose and when we complained about the food they didn't ask what was wrong with it they just took it away.
Just moved to Ossett so this was our first time going to Gandhi Spice, it did not disappoint. Food was spot on. I asked Ali the owner what he would recommend and told me about a few of the dishes he thought I would like as I don't like it spicy, I ended up with the Lamb Handi and it was so flavoursome. Kahim, sorry if I've spelt that wrong was such a lovely waiter, so polite and attentive. Bounus is that they sell alcohol. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Food was disgusting . Starter was really greasy. I complained, but they just took it away and still billed me for it. Main was like rubber and chips was like shells, no potatoe in them . Will not go again
Thank you gandhi spice for a lovely Christmas day. Food fantastic. Service outstanding.
