One star is being nice! Purchased a car from Joe at argo automotive. Disappointed doesnt even come close! After reading reviews which all seemed very positive and meeting Joe to complete the purchase in leeds i was very positive that i had bought at least a half decent car and felt at ease with Joe after explaining i had just had my last car written off and needed a car to be able to get my children about joe came across as a very genuine kind of guy. Now here comes the issues! Purchased the car, left the shop to get about 2 mile down the road for the car to start causing me issues! NO water in the radiator causing engine to overheat meaning i needed to pull over. Let this slip in the hope it just needed topping up. My partner brought me some water to top it up and all seemed ok or at least i thought...Less than 2 weeks later the car was completly knackered! Took to a local garage who confirmed head gasket had gone and that i had basically wasted my money and been done over! The ad on auto trader stated the car had a years MOT only it didnt and was due to run out in 3 month! Now heres the best bit i contacted Joe to which he ignored my messages then my partner phoned him. His response was well you shouldnt of drove the car! Sorry what?? I purchased a car to drive not to sit it outside my house! He was so unhelpful and offered nothing to even attempt to resolve the issue!! Tried to make contact again after getting written clarification from a garage but again got absolutely nowhere with him. I contacted auto trader who clarified that a refund should be made and that they would be reporting the ad themselves as it was false advertising! Fast forward i wrote a letter to claim my money back and for him to arrange collection of the car as i was within the 30 days consumer act which means i an infact entitled to my money back considering he had sold me faulty goods! Now this letter never got to him. Royal mail attempted on 3 separate occasions to deliver this letter to which all failed and the letter was opened and returned to me! Court was my only option but in all honesty i dont have the headspace for dragging it through court to potentially get bare minimum paid back to me a month!! It is nothing short of discusting to be honest and how you can sleep at night knowing you have ripped someone off who needed that car to get her children around and who is now just short of £4000 out of pocket is beyond me! WARNING to anyone who comes across this place i would avoid because joe has clearly got the talk but thats about all he has! He is not a legit business man because had he of been he would of done the right thing and returned the money and collected the heap of scrap he sold to me!! You need naming and shaming and i really hope you are proud of yourself! Your business is an absolute joke or maybe its not the business and in actual fact its just you who is a joke. AVOID!!

Awesome car buying experience with these guys, especially when I’ve been one of those annoying buyers hunting for a very specific car! 😂 Very communicative and responsive and they went out of their way to make sure everything was tip top for collection. Zero complaints about the whole process. Super friendly and helpful, not to mention reasonable and trustworthy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and use again. Thanks again guys 👍🏻

AVOID AVOID AVOID! Purchased a car in February from Sean & Chris. After a few weeks we ran into a few issues under the warranty. Invoices were never paid. Tried chasing them for weeks until we were told by the owner of the premises they had left due to rent arrears. We ended up paying for the issues ourselves. A few weeks later a letter arrived from Santander saying that they had no right to sell the car to me as it still had outstanding finance, which I am now having to seek legal advice to deal with so I don’t end up having the car repossessed. Avoid business with these criminals at all costs. I hope the scum bags get everything they deserve when the law catches up with them!

Highly recommend this car dealership. Very friendly and considerate. After sales service and support was above and beyond. Didn't feel pressured or hassled during the car buying experience. Was made to feel like a valued customer. Joe is fantastic and we can't thank him enough.

Joe and Nathan took the stress out of finding a first car for our son. The car was head and shoulders above others we'd seen, and the customer service at Argo was friendly, helpful and professional. The guys really went the extra mile. Wouldn't hesitate to return if we were looking for a vehicle in the future. Thank you!
