They sent a reminder 2 weeks after an injection was due. Then you can only book an appointment if you happen not to be working at 8am or 12noon Monday to Friday. If they worked Saturday it would help but they don't. They are stopping me from accessing health care as I am unable to book appointments. I haven't been able to see a Dr since they merged with the other practice and changed to this system.
Shocking service by one of the receptionists. No awareness about a duty of care and misinformation provided to the patient. My mum called, in the morning- no appointments; call after 12 (she only needed to speak to a doctor to get a prescription); called at 12- no appointments and told to call 111 to get the prescription. I told the receptionist that 111 will not give a prescription. She was exceptionally rude and stated that they definitely will provide a prescription; called 111 - they don’t give prescriptions; 111 emailed the doctors and miraculously a telephone appointment was made for my mum! The receptionist needs further training on customer service and needs further training on how to provide a duty of care and correct information. Absolutely shocking and unacceptable that people are unable to get a doctors appointment
After moving to Ossett four months ago this is the doctors that came highly recommended by my neighbours. When you call for an appointment you are greeted by a helpful receptionist on every call. All the receptionists are polite friendly and want to try and help. The doctors are amazing . My four year old son has been ill this week and they have seen him on three separate occasions , nothing is too much for them. These doctors in my experience are the best I've ever dealt with.
What a lovely Dr I saw today! He was thorough and had a lovely manner about him. He validated my visit and was really approachable!
Awful service, smug and dismissive. Appointment system is horrendous, I tried for 3 days to get a TELEPHONE appointment with a doctor. 15 minutes per call on hold, to be told no appointments, call back tomorrow. Finally a request for a doctor to call me sometime in the afternoon. Very vague. Then to add insult to injury, it wasn't even a Doctor that rang me back it was a practice nurse! Laughable. No authority to help. All the doctors off duty this week, call back next week and someone may be able to help you. Ha! What a joke. NHS complaints/ombudsman will be hearing from me.
