After months with other agents, I switched to Claire Roberts. From our first conversation to completion, Claire’s professionalism and communication set her apart. Nothing felt rushed or too much trouble and each step was handled thoughtfully and transparently. Rutley Clark’s presentation included high-quality photography and a distinctive brochure in which she told the story of the house. Viewings were arranged quickly, feedback was timely. Any concerns I may have had about using an independent agent over a national one, such as national reach or indeed using a local high-street agent for cross sell opportunities, proved irrelevant in today’s Rightmove-led market. While national agents may have a longer established brand Claire offers a level of personal service that big chains can't match.

Right from the outset Claire & Lola @Rutley Clark were extremely attentive. Professional service with a personal touch throughout. We bought and sold through the team and nothing was too much trouble. The inevitable bumps in road throughout our sale were dealt with swiftly by Claire and we were kept up to date at call times. Working with Claire at Rutley Clark has been an absolute pleasure. From the very first conversation, she was professional, approachable, and genuinely committed to understanding what I needed. Her knowledge of the market is second to none, but what really stood out was the care and attention she gave throughout the whole process, nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Claire made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth, positive, and even enjoyable. I felt supported every step of the way, and her proactive communication meant I was never left wondering what was happening next. I couldn’t recommend Claire more highly. She’s not only brilliant at what she does, but also a lovely person to work with.

Firstly, I would give this estate agency a zero star if it was possible! I arranged a viewing and was met at the property by a member of staff - it turned out to be the business owner. The property was quite large and needed a reasonable amount of time to look around. During our visit, we noted Claire looking at her watch on at least seven occasions. Also, she had brought a child with her, who, whilst remaining in her vehicle, did make us wonder if this was the reason that Claire was "watching the clock" so to speak. All in all, we were there for just twenty minutes, but felt rushed. None the less, I placed an offer by email. I also asked further questions about the property which I had to chase by telephone and again by email. The telephone was unanswered more than once. By the time I got the answer, the property was sold. I did state that my offer would have been some £25,000 higher had I been furnished with the information that I had requested in a more timely manner. I'll also add that when talking to Claire, I did say "I can self convey and complete very quickly". Claire started laughing. She continued to laugh and I still do not know to this day what is amusing about either self conveying or completing quickly. See my review about another agent where we have completed in just seven weeks. I have complained to the agency and asked for their complaints procedure. That did arrive although that took time also. The response to my complaints is not adequate and has been forwarded to the Ombudsmen. Buying a property is no laughing matter, but Claire thinks it is funny. I met Claire the owner of Rutley Clark at a time when my house sale had fallen through after a long period of being on the market with previous limited viewers I knew the brochures and photographs didn’t do the house justice and felt the Estate agent support was limited I moved my House across to Claire and with her help to stage it and improve the marketing, the first viewers who walked through the door bought it ! Throughout the process Claire had been really attentive, tracking the buyers progress and liaising with solicitors. She definitely renewed my faith in Estate agents and I have subsequently sold another property with Rutley Clark, that also sold very quickly. Her marketing is fresh, with tremendous attention to detail and her support and service are excellent. I would highly recommend.
