An absolutely amazing shop. Louise and everyone made me feel so comfortable shopping. I felt so beautiful and they had a really good variety of dresses. When my dress arrived missing buttons and a pull in the fabric they sorted it out so quickly and my dress was amazing on the day and fit great. I would recommend to anyone looking for their wedding dress.

My experience at love and cherish was absolutely amazing. The whole team are so welcoming. When dress shopping, I’d initially been all over trying on different styles of lovely white and ivory dresses. Whilst they were all beautiful, none felt right on me, and didn’t compliment my fair colouring at all. I came to love and cherish in the hopes of be able to find something different, to compliment my pale skin tone. The ladies were super helpful and very patient with me! They gave advice and were honest in their opinions. I found a beautiful floral ‘off the rail’ dress and tried this on, and it was gorgeous!!! The only thing I didn’t particularly like was how the top half of the dress fit me. I threw some ideas out there about how I’d prefer the straps to be off the shoulder and Louise started to gather fabrics, lightly pinning them to the dress to give an idea of the silhouette I was wanting. She also threw some ideas out about taking some of the 3D flowers from the bottom of my dress once the length was taken up, to give me a bit more modesty around my bust. Once we’d established that an off the shoulder dress was a better suit for my figure, they organised a time for me to come in for alterations with a seamstress, who works with love and cherish. My dress turned out be be absolutely STUNNING, and more beautiful than I ever envisioned. I felt so so pretty on the day and everyone complimented the dress, saying it was like nothing they’d seen before!! The whole process of finding a wedding dress at love and cherish was amazing. Louise and Lisa just bring all the warmth! Always offering a cuppa tea or prosecco, and really did the most amazing job with my bridesmaids too and their dresses! Thank you so much love and cherish!! I had the best time with you. ❤️

A very pleasant experience, Lisa was lovely and helpful, i managed to choose a gorgeous prom dress for 2026. It was pure and a great experience, a wide range of dress choices,colours and styles. so happy with my prom dress and at an affordable price! xxx

I had been putting off wedding dress shopping for ages...worried that I would be out of my depth and overwhelmed...especially as I absolutely detest finding clothes that I feel comfortable and look nice in (I am the type of person who doesn't make it out of the changing room to show family and friends clothes that I pick and leave stores empty handed...feeling deflated). I met the lovely Lisa at a wedding fayre and we got chatting, I explained to her my worries and she put me at ease straight away. She encouraged me to book an appointment and explained how this would run. The first big hurdle was complete... I took the jump and booked. Hurdle 2... attending the appointment... I was extremely nervous and worried. Upon entering the store, Lisa had the same friendly welcome that I remembered from the fayre. Another lady was present and she was very attentive, offering a selection of drinks and chatting before the appointment started. They both helped set a very relaxed pace before even looking at dresses which settled my nerves greatly. Lisa and her colleague listened to my likes and dislikes before supporting me with choosing a range of dresses. The whole experience was simply fantastic! She helped with making me feel 'ready' before stepping out of the dressing room to show my guests, this was a big help! Throughout the appointment I tried on dresses and re-tried them with different accessories such as veils, diamanté belts and sleeves. Nothing felt rushed and I enjoyed the day thoroughly (something I never thought I would EVER say!) I liked how Lisa and my future mother in law recommended one or two dresses which were not what I had in mind...this totally was a curve ball and I fell in love with one which I would have never considered. I visioned an A-line dress and I was set on having full sleeves to cover my arms up! This one did not... There were lots of happy tears and I ended up going to another appointment that I had booked. Shortly after being in the other shop, I knew my heart was set...I stayed to try on a few dresses but none compared to the one I tried on at Love and Cherish. I asked my future mother in law to try and ring Lisa's shop nearer to the end of the appointment to ask if we could come back so that I could show my maid of honour who had joined us. Though she was mid-way through another appointment and was due to close shortly after, Lisa kindly said yes. After trying on the dress again, I knew it was the one... I said YES to the dress! A big heartfelt THANK YOU for such a lovely experience, one that can be looked on in years to come with lots of happiness! I definitely recommend future brides go to this store, there are lots of different styles, something to suit all and for those feeling the same as I did prior to the appointment...THIS IS THE SHOP FOR YOU ❤️ Both are very clearly passionate about the business and have a wealth of experience! I loved the photo opportunity at the end of the appointment and look forward to going to my alteration appointments closer to the big day! A big THANK YOU again ❤️ Helen xx
