I found it hard to find a shutter company that was happy and confident to work on a boat and with port holes!!! Until I found shutter world - Ken was outstanding and I knew exactly what the plan was and how they were going to work with my existing port hole liners. Every detail and drawing - to deadlines. With delays my end with the build he went above and beyond to fit in with my schedule. anyone looking for shutters in the boat world lKen (shutter word) is your guy! Ken of Shutter World very promptly answered our request for a quote; he came along and measured the windows and then worked with us to identify how we wanted the shutters to open/fold to meet our specific requirements to cover french windows etc. The plans and quote were sent to us quickly - overnight - and was well priced in comparison to other quotes. More importantly, he arranged the delivery and the fitting in excellent order. The 2 sets of Shutters were fitted quickly and there was absolutely no residual sign of the woodwork, adjustments or fixing holes etc that he had to make to fit the shutters! Despite the unique shapes of some of the windows, the excellent pair of jobs were completed efficiently and cleanly with all signs of work cleaned up and the rooms left just as you would want your mother-in-law to see them! We would very strongly recommend Ken and Shutter World to anybody thunking of having shutters fitted.

100% delighted with the quality and service received from Shutterworld. The bedroom in our cottage is very small and the original curtain and pole took up too much space for our liking. After seeing the Plantation Shutters on the Shutterworld site we knew this would be a perfect solution. What impressed me the most was their attention to detail. The owner asked me to send a photo of the window so he could see which style of shutter would suit us best. I then sent over the measurements and we had a price the same day. That level of service is rare these days. The final fitting took very little time and they left the place spotless. I have already recommended them to two neighbors. Ken was recommended to me as someone who fits shutters in london and he happens to live in Wakefield, not too far from where we live. He drove to london to measure up for them on 23rd May and they were fitted the other day. We are absolutely delighted with them. Ken is extremely efficient and great to deal with.
