Went to the swimming pool. Very clean. Gym and exercise classes that we haven't used but look well attended.
A small (20 metre) pool but not overly subscribed and even a keen “lane” swimmer (no actual lanes in the adult session) can get a reasonable session in. The water is sparkling clean and the general cleanliness is very good. Staff are very friendly. I don’t use the gym so can’t comment on that.
I go to many swimming pools doing triathlons all over the country. This pool although only 20 metres in length has to be one of the best! It is so clean both pool and changing rooms. The staff are helpful and the lifeguards do not just sit on a chair! This rates as excellent! Thank you Nidderdale Pool.
There isn't much space it's just your normal pool although great place to have your birthday party xx
I have put on on a bit weight, well to be honest a lot of weight. I used to be fit for most of my life, but injuries caused me to change the way I exercised. Running was my my sport until knee problems started to take a hold. So I switched to cycling but again injuries put a stop to that. After some time age and pain beat me. I enquired about joining the Gym and thanks to Jack the road to recovery seems to be on the horizon. It's early days but I feel positive for the future. Hard work and determination will pay of..........or maybe kill me. Either way I'll be a different person. 😎👍
