We met up with friends for one night. Had a room in the courtyard which was very nice with every thing spot on. Had our evening meal in the dining room. The young staff attending us were a delight. Made sure we had everything we needed without being rushed. The meal itself was delicious and well presented. Good choice for breakfast. We checked out but were able to leave our car parked until the afternoon allowing us to explore the Castle and church. We will return
Called in for food, not booked, but we were accommodated. Lovely menu choices. Very pleasant staff, excellent service and delicious food. Would definitely recommend and we'll return another time.
Did not stay at the hotel, but did visit for food after a day in Dalby. Hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. They let us know that there weren't tables free, but told us a precise and short wait time, and were happy to find us a comfortable spot by the bar in the meantime. I had the Whitby fish n chips, partner had the sea bass special. These were very tasty and certainly seemed to be cooked to order. The price is a bit up there, but I feel justified for the high quality ingredients and service. We were more than happy to keep the service charge included.
We just had a meal here and drinks and it was amazing. Right from calling to book a table the staff and service and food was outstanding. Staff couldn't do enough for you, attentive, clear and concise and built a rapport with myself and family. Highly recommend the Lamb!! Just wow.
A disappointing and upsetting experience today - we arrived with our 2 small dogs and were placed in the dog friendly area of the restaurant (which I completely understand) a lady already seated there told us we couldn't sit there because " dogs have diseases" we looked to staff to rectify but had to leave because no-one helped. We were made to feel very small and like we didn't belong there all because no one wanted to deal with this lady. If you have a dog don't eat here.
