Good place to shop in Pickering for cheap food. This is one of there smaller shops with an equally small car park. The bakery is the main selling point (actually maybe price) Lidl is a shop with lots of stuff but never the range of the larger supermarkets such as Tesco and Sainsbury's so often you have to go there too.
Great supermarket. Fruit and vegetables fresh and looking good. A variety of products can be found in this Lidl. One minor thing, the car park. This was small and not well designed (layout)
Small but clearly an asset for Pickering's locals (if not local shops?). A sub-set of all the usual stuff. Car park hemmed in by geography so rather small. We always check for the nearest Lidl when booking holiday cottages. This one was on route and only 35 mins away. (Whitby closest). June 24. Back in beautiful N Yorkshire this time staying in Pickering itself. Still an excellent, albeit small, Lidl. But the 6 disable parking places had only 2 of the 6 cars displaying a badge.
Very well stocked shop backed by the Coop. Wonderfully friendly staff too!
