Pear Tree House Bed & Breakfast

Although booking in was 4pm on arrival. It is good that you are allowed to use the on site parking from 11am. Sarah was welcoming on my arrival at noon and offered to let me book in straight away. The room I had (Gable) is a lovely en suite (great shower area) large room which includes a settee, TV, water, coffe & tea. There are plenty of drawers and closed storage. The breakfast is pre order, which is not a problem and works,well. The food was very good and plentiful. The B&B faces onto the main road and is a few minutes walk to the town centre and NYMR station. Sarah and Chris were great hosts, very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend it without reservation. If you are looking to access the NYMR train, search the discounted voucher price such as Groupon which was half price. The Sun pub a short walk away is a good place to visit, has a good atmosphere but does not serve food. There are plenty of places in the town centre to get food or drink, and two supermarkets. Explore all of the town centre including the side roads otherwise you may well miss some things.

Spent a few days there recently as came up for the classic car auction viewing at Matthewsons. Love place and a really warm welcome, the bed and pillows are amazing as is everything else. Really enjoyed our stay and nice selection of breakfasts to choose from. Will definitely return if ever up that way again.

My wife and I have just had a week at the Pear tree B&B. We stayed in the Gable Room, which was lovely great shower, and lovely spacious room. Well the breakfast were so nice. Between us we had everything that was on offer. Scrambled egg ,mushrooms and tomato was my wife favourite I liked the full English and pancakes. Sarah and Chris made the week ,alway happy to see what we had been doing each day of our holiday and taking interest in us

Sarah and Chris gave us a lovely warm welcome upon arriving and showed us to our room, and bathroom and gave us all the information we needed. We didn't feel as though we had to ask any questions or were left in the dark about anything. The room was clean and fresh with a homely feel. The seperate, but private bathroom was spacious and very clean with plenty of provided soaps, towels and robes. Breakfast was cooked to our own chosen time and choice from their menu every day with plenty of tea, coffee and juice. The B&B is also perfect walking distance from the town where there are also plenty of eateries and pubs. Off road parking is a great benefit and the space provided is more than enough. We had a fantastic weekend stay at Pear Tree House. Great location, breakfast and spacious, clean rooms. Sarah and Chris were lovely, really welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
