Newly refurbished in 2014 the cottage sleeps up to six people and offers uninterrupted views of the steam trains as they slowly pass to collect a token from the signalman before their onward journey to Whitby. The sleeping arrangement comprises of 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom (both offering views over the railway), and 1 bunk bed room.

With a fully fitted kitchen the cottage also boasts separate living and dining rooms with a fully enclosed patio and garden, the perfect setting to sit and watch the steam trains that run throughout the day. A fully secure garage for bike storage is also provided.

Known as the gateway to the North Yorkshire Moors the nearby market town of Pickering is within an easy 15 minute walk away. The area is renowned for its wildlife, cycling, and walking trails. In addition we are perfectly located for visiting many of the Yorkshire coastal towns, historic houses, and museums.
