Really lovely static caravan. Clean, spacious & well equipped. Nice games room for the kids. Little shop with essentials. Excellent WiFi included. Well located for coast or NY moors. Friendly team to welcome you. Thank you for a lovely break.

We stayed in our touring caravan, the site has massive hard standing pitches with tonnes of space. Great access to the site as it is very easy to find. They welcomed us on arrival and gave us all of the relevant information the lady on reception was extremely friendly and helpful. We really liked the site due to the location and despite the road it was quiet.. They have good ammenities and and small dog walk which was ample for our old boy but the younger dogs may need a longer walk. Bring next to the pub is a bonus. Great stay, great location, we will definitely be back

We had a lovely stay at this site. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were greeted with a smile as soon as we arrived! We found the facilities were all really clean and the location is great. Perfect distance for everything nearby. The pub was handy too!

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Facilties were spotlessly clean. Pitches were huge and were amazed at how quiet the site was. Only down down side was dog walk got mowed and our dogs paws got covered in burrs. You'll be seeing us again next year.

The Black Bull was a rather mixed experience for us. Pros: Well equipped, very tidy, very nice staff. Cons: Very expensive (£31, low season, no weekend, no extras), push-button showers (always nice to expect guests to put up with something you wouldn't want at home!), not really much charm. In addition, the fresh water connections are set back in a niche—without a hose attached. So you can only get fresh water with your own very long hose. No idea who thought that was a smart idea. And the final boss: washing machines. They cost £4! and only run for 34 minutes – not much gets clean in that time. Then you're supposed to use only liquid detergent, but despite the price, none is provided! What is the expectation here? That guests will drive off again to buy inferior detergent because the campsite would like them to? Absurd. The dryer can only be run on the medium setting and costs another 50 pence per 10 minutes (!) – it took more than 50 minutes for the laundry to dry (a small laundry basket full). We've never done laundry so expensively before. Bonus: Unfortunately, the motion detector for the light in the shower doesn't reach the cubicle... so you have to shower with a flashlight. Yay.
