Barker Stakes Farm Lodges and Cottages

Just come back from my 6th time staying here over the years. We love the place. Amazing friendly owners. We have stayed in a few of the different cabins over our time coming here, they are all lovely and clean and well equipped. I love how the cabins have a fenced off area which is perfect for dog owners. Especially when in the hot tub. They have play areas and animals and it’s in the most beautiful area. Lots to do in the area or just a short drive to other places for days out. We love going to Whitby. Thank you and we will be back soon.

We enjoyed a two night stay in a hot tub lodge overlooking the lake as a family of four (children aged 7 and 9) and our dog. It was lovely - the lodge was really clean, comfy, spacious and had everything we needed and we all loved the hot tub. Check in and out was really easy. The children liked the play area, play barn and animals although we'll have to come back in the summer to make more use of them as it was quite autumnal, dark and cold when we were there! We liked the location - felt rural enough whilst being close to amenities and we enjoyed a day out at the coast. We would definitely return. Thank you :-)

Recently stayed with 2 young children & a dog, the accommodation was very clean, had everything we needed and hosts were there if we needed anything. The children loved waking up and looking at the animals every morning and hot tub was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend

We have just returned from a weekend in the Pod 1. It was fabulous! The pod was brilliant, and had everything we needed. It was a really easy check in! The pod was spotless and lovely and toasty! I have two children aged 13 and 11, it afforded so much freedom for them, plenty to do, and the animals were the highlight! It is a great base for the North Yorkshire moors! Thank you for a lovely stay! We will be back!

A lovely rural escape. The rooms were really clean and had everything you needed. The walk into the town along the country lane was really quiet and great for the dog! Would definitely stay again.
