Not happy. Young girl with glasses had a horrible attitude and also thought it would be appropriate to constantly swear in front of the young children who had come in from the Christmas market . The food was also disgusting. However, the manager and customers were really lovely.
It was like meeting the grim reaper. I managed to get some ale drank before he used his scythe on me. Highly recommend this place if you are anticipating your demise.
The Black Swan is a traditional pub. The large single L shaped room has bar games, a pool table, and a dartboard. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and there is a wide range of beers larger and cider but sadly no cask conditioned real ales. There is a nice outside seating area at the back of the pub. It is a nice pub and dog friendly.
popped in while in Pocklington beers reasonable priced sat in the loo beer garden could see some seating being refurbished good atmosphere friendly bar staff would definitely return
Great pub all round, great for sport with a good beer garden too.
