The Station Hotel

Went for Christmas Dinner and it was incredible! Great food and service. Huge portions so we got takeaway boxes, which they were happy to provide. We were looked after by a waitress called Sophie and she was incredibly friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back.

What a lovely surprise last nights Christmas 🎄 Meal was, we all loved it. We having been meeting as a local crochet group a couple of times a month for a while now, and never eaten. Last night we had a group Christmas Meal, 10 of us, including a couple us with gluten and dairy free dietary requirements. The food was great, really good quality and generous portions, well presented. I had a lovely prawn cocktail large tasty prawns on a mixed salad. I followed it with roast beef gluten free Yorkshire Pud (always a treat) and plenty of veg, it was similar with the turkey and the salmon options… and then they added bowls of red cabbage and cauliflower cheese that were superb. Pudding didn’t disappoint either the two who had cheese board both took home doggy bags as there was such a generous serving. Light fluffy chocolate fudge cake, tasty Christmas pud and dairy &gluten free trillionaire shortbread was a treat. 3 courses £30 ish was great value too All in all we all agreed how great the food was and I’m sure we’ll arrange more excuses to do more, ie eat, than crochet, chat and have a drink in our lovely local👏👏 Thanks 🙏 again and see you in the New Year 😘 Sorry no photos we were enjoying it so much to remember 🤣

Had a Christmas meal at The Station last night. It was exceptional! Wonderful choices and generous portions. All the faves! Super service with a smile, they couldnt do enough for us. Thank you to all and compliments to rhe chef!

This is without a doubt the best pub in Pocklington. We come here very regularly and have never been disappointed. The staff are all so so friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is so relaxed and they are great with our kids and welcome animals. The food has never been anything but excellent and has a lot of different options to choose from. If you are passing through or live here I would highly recommend spending some time here. Special thanks defo go to Eddie and Kim as well who are just some of the nicest and friendliest people you will ever meet. The ladies who staff the bar are also above and beyond amazing. The only thing I wish I could change was the amount of stars I could give cos It would be much more Love Jim, Amanda, the kids and Ozzy xxxx

When lots of other places couldn't fit us in at short notice the Station did. Very reasonably priced, hearty, pub food. Quite possibly the best pub burger I've ever eaten! Very friendly, helpful staff. 10/10 experience. Highly recommended.
