Last minute meal out with friends at Sebby’s, a quick phone call to book - the girl on the phone was cheerful and fitted us in. We were not sure what to expect in this grand old building but thought a pizza and charcuterie would be a nice Friday night treat. The atmosphere was lively and bustling when we arrived and the staff were warm and friendly. We sat on the high tables near the windows and enjoyed the warm lighting and atmospheric music, our drinks order was efficiently taken, they have some very good wines and beer on tap. The meal arrived in good time - the most DELICIOUS pizzas, cheezy garlic bread, charcuterie. Such a great spread of freshly made food, loved every bit. Tiramisu and icecream to finish. What a great addition to Pocklington high street! We will definitely go back - well done all!!
We were first in so we got to have a good look around and the place is gorgeous. Jake made us feel really welcome & told us a little bit about the building's history and also what food was on offer, then gave us the perfect amount of time to choose what we wanted. The food came quickly and was delicious - my son referred to his pizza as "divine". All the staff were really friendly and our server Jake was fab. We'll definitely go back!
My favourite place to eat in Pocklington, we’ve been several times, with friends & family and always had such a fabulous time. We visited again yesterday for my birthday with family, and again had such a brilliant experience. The staff are always so friendly and accommodating. Jake was our server last night and he was brilliant, knowledgable, happy, fun and nothing was too much trouble. Food as always was delicious, hot and with us not long after ordering. We ordered a mixture of pizza, charcuterie boards & fries. The vegetarian was very well catered for with a cheese grazing board, a mushroom, onion, artichoke & rocket pizza & fries. Jake also happily exchanged the goats cheese to a ricotta as we aren’t keen. They have a great drinks menu, with an IPA and a lager on tap, a great cocktail menu , wines & soft drinks. Looking forwards to the next visit with friends for the festive set menu 🌲🎄
We went here a day after it opened. Ordered a pizza and a gluten-free deli board. Both were excellent and had some lovely wine. Staff friendly and efficient. Busy with a good atmosphere. Will be returning soon.
Worth the drive fir THAT pizza! Popped into before a show at the arts center and WOW! We were a group of 4 and not one of us had ever had pizza as good! Catherine , Jamie and Harry - a big shoot out too for amazing service with added sass!
