I love a Yuzu Takeaway it offers fresh, flavourful food that’s consistently nice. Orders are well-prepared, taste great, and are ready quickly, making it a reliable go-to for an easy, delicious meal. Leah the cook is friendly and always produces amazing food highly recommend
Vegan reviewer: Great range of options for vegan and non-vegan diners, and really generous portions. The atmosphere of the The Market Tap was really nice and chilled, with the upstairs having games and great tunes. Teriyaki donburi bowl- the tofu and pickles and delicious. The teriyaki sauce gets a bit bitter as you get to the rice, but HUGE portion and generally very enjoyable. Would order again Miso aubergine bao- tasty, good as a smaller bite. A more subtle flavour than the donburi but nice, would order again Katsu curry fries - quite average but nice Apple pie gyozas - I absolutely love these and am glad they have brought them back. They are meant to be fully vegan and marked as so on the menu, but unfortunately on this occasion the server had put whit chocolate sauce on them and we didn’t realise until we had eaten some. The staff were quick to replace them for us, however, didn’t seem to understand their own menu too well (everything on the menu that is veggie is vegan, there is only one “V” option). It’s not the end of the world for us, but would be concerning for someone with allergies/ intolerances
We’ll go again! Great beer from downstairs and very tasty food. I had the chicken katsu curry, my wife had a Korean rice bowl and our son went for jumbo Korean wings.
Had some food here today with friends, loved the fries and bao buns which paired nice with the brew york beers. The server who brought the food was really nice and I didn't have to wait long for my food. It was hot and seasoned nicely. Thank you! 🤩
Excellent takeaway street food served in a pub with a fantastic selection of York ales; you sit down at the tables and order from a QR code. Very friendly service from both and would definitely eat here again.
