Lovely little takeaway away, the staff could be a bit more friendly if you don't mind me saying. The food is superb though, I have the Special Chow Mein and what a delight it was to eat. I could taste all the meats, etc.. and the noodles were just right. The establishment is rather small and does have street parking outside but limited space. Overall, it's pretty good, and I shall be going back.
Just tried to order via the phone using the menu online and what should have been £27 was told it would be £50. Safe to say I cancelled that order quick! Far too expensive and make the excuse the menus are wrong hahaa. No thanks.
Where do I begin… I have come to Pocklington a few times now and in my humble opinion you can’t pass up the local Chinese… the staff was absolutely amazing and they get you the food in your hands so fast. I went for the salt and chilli chicken, prawn toast and chips with a curry dip, I swear your taste buds be treated to something special when you get a bit of the food! Just when I thought I was done boom! He hands me a free calendar for the new year, such a lovely gesture. I can 100% recommend this place for quality tasty food, have never disappointed me!

The rice is so good how ever compared to our old Chinese takeaway there isn't much meat in it. You don't get much sauce at all, I'd recommend getting 2 for one meal. We received what seemed to be old warmed up chips which is strange because we ordered 20 minutes before their official open time and picked it up as they opened This is the first time ordering from them here will give them another chance, hopefully it was a one off
