Always full even at 8.30am on a weekday its ok during school holidays The kids from the nearby school park there cars now the other carpark has been reduced to 4 hours not good if you travel to work in Pocklington
All the places are full by 8.30 no other long stay parking available You will be ok in school holidays it looks like the pupils park in this car park.
Went here to watch the fireworks like we do every year. Outside of that it's a good place to exercise your dog and lounge around in summer. At the far end there's a skate park which allows young people something to do. Have noticed that it can be a congregation area on an evening for boy racers!
Useful location about 400m outside town centre; it's free and there is no time limit on your stay but the surface is poor, lots of puddles and very muddy in the rain.
Lots of space, so good yesterday as paved free car park nearer to town was full. Surface is unsealed so can get muddy/ mucky.
