Pocklington Dental

We recently transferred from a failing private dental practice in York, which we had used for a number of years. We wish we had made the change sooner. What a difference! Pocklington Dental is excellent. The premises are bright, spotlessly clean and tidy. The reception staff are friendly, polite, helpful and very efficient. The hygienists are personable and effective, and let you know what they’re doing. There are several dentists; ours is Abigail Chapman - and a better dentist would, I think, be impossible to find! We have never had our treatments so well explained, at every step along the way. Her ‘bedside manner’ is impeccable; always checking if you’re OK throughout the procedure; and her dentistry skills are exemplary. We didn’t even feel the anaesthetic injections! We have never felt so well looked after, at any previous dentists. I would hesitate to refer to any visit to the dentist as enjoyable - but our overall experience at Pocklington Dental certainly comes close! Thank you!😊 Ted & Rosie Dunstan

Very professional set up. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Christos was very thorough and explained in great detail, what treatment was required. Treatment went smoothly. I am very happy with the results. Both Christos and his assistant have a confident approach, which in turn instilled confidence in me.

The practice is modern and has some lovely staff from the receptionist to the dental nurses. The waiting area is comfortable. The dental surgery is modern with some amazing equipment and technology to help you understand your treatment. Christos Athanasoulis Is very competent and a friendly dentist who I would recommend.

I can't recommend them enough! Every member of the team has been so welcoming and kind! Amazing work from all of them. Everyone on reception and Kat have been so helpful and lovely every time I've been in or had questions...and a huge thank you to Jonathan and Jodie for my brand new tooth you've been incredible at every appointment!

Amazing dentist. Partner couldn’t be there due to work, me and the kids were both booked into the dentist and they were absolutely amazing with the kids, taking loads of pressure off me so we all could be seen properly. Playing games with them whilst I was getting seen, just being really caring & compassionate and not judging the kids being bored and abit crazy 😂 Thanks so much guys x
