South Lea Caravan Park

If you want a peaceful site, to relax, or walk locally in stunning surroundings, then I can really recommend South Lea. Everything about it makes it stand out from the others. The site management are very positive in what they do, to ensure you enjoy your stay and to make it as trouble free for you as they can. I’ve genuinely never met such accommodating and helpful people. It’s so refreshing. South Lea is always clean and tidy, the facilities are great and there is lashings of hot water for a shower. But beware of the washing up area, it only takes 10 mins to wash your pots, but there are so many lovely like minded people you get talking to, you can easily pass an hour! Then it’s already time for lunch. During the summer months there are visiting food vendors, last year we had stone baked pizza, fish and chips, belly busting breakfasts and also the regular ice cream van and it comes right to your caravan. Come and have a look, once you visit, you won’t want to leave😁 S & S

South Lea is run by an amazing couple. Nothing is too much trouble. They are friendly and outgoing. The site is kept meticulously clean and tidy even during the work that is being carried out. Highly recommend this site to anyone wanting a getaway in a quiet location

We were looking for a seasonal plot for our caravan and visited South Lea on a very cold winters day. Even with the freezing windy weather we could see how lovely the site is. It's well maintained, the shower and loo block is clean and warm and the spaces for dog walking are excellent. We signed up the same day and we're looking forward to the start of the season to enjoy using our van and meet other people on the site.

Lovely quiet park, very clean and tidy. Nothing is too much trouble for Sharon and Sean the site manager's, they will go above and beyond to make your stay a happy one. There is alot to do around and about , close to York for a fab day out.

Starting our third season here on a seasonal pitch after many years touring. We love it. Quiet, well maintained, clean facilities & extremely helpful friendly staff (and residents!) Great location within walking distance of Pocklington & a bus stop right outside the gate for adventures to York or Hull. No hesitation in recommending.
