Just a short woal from the Town centre, this campsite has good facilities and all maintained to an equally good standard. Staff, helpful and friendly. There's a farm shop attached to this campsite that if you're interested serve what looked like good, home cooked bakery and food. (although, we didn't try). This is our 2nd visit and we will more thankkely revisit. Good value for money.
We stayed here last night on our way to burton Fleming On arrival we met Colin who was so helpful as we were complete novices to it , he advised us what to do what not to do , what we could do whilst visiting there , showed us the ropes of how things worked there ! I didn’t bring a large towel but wish I had as the shower blocks were spotless I went first thing in the morning and already been cleaned , smelt fresh and so clean ! Colin was talking to someone as we were leaving so didn’t want to interrupt but thankyou for all your help when we arrived The place is lovely so calm and relaxing , popped to the shop and purchased a few things so looking forward to sampling them later We will be back and thankyou for a lovely stay Paula
Friendly and welcoming staff serving fresh cooked food at reasonable prices. The sliced fruit cake served with optional Wenslydale cheese is the best we have found within a radius of 15 miles.
My wife and I along with our dog Reg stayed here 12th & 13 January 2024 on the campsite in our motorhome. We were greeted by Colin with a warm friendly welcome on arrival. The place is used by locals and friends from our village and I have to say we were not disappointed. Having the cafe and shop on site is a plus. The site isnt too big so very comfortable with EHU and all the services you need. The site is a ten minute walk into pocklington town centre which is amazing with plenty of shops pubs and eateries if you need them. We are already looking forward too and planning our next trip back there. Highly recomend.
Lovely quiet campsite just outside pocklington with cafe on site.unisex toilets and showers.dog friendly with enclosed exercise field ,also dog agility area(extra to pay)expensive shop on site.enjoyed our stay,only criticism,could do with bracket in shower to put soap etc in ,instead of floor and handle on shower wall as floor slippery.
