Went to Carenters cottage for 3 nights. 28th June. What a loverly place to stay for a short break. Every thing was spotless and clean. Tea coffee sugar milk provided. Got use of garden and patio area. Plenty of pubs restaurants local 50 yards away. Thank you very much Helen we had nice break. Mike Carol
Lovely warm and cosy cottage in a great location . Friendly owners and every little thing you could need. Even down to tissues,milk in fridge, full size toiletries, biscuits , tea and coffee. There's even a washing machine. Beloved the upstairs large bedroom with an unusual stained glass window which we left uncovered for maximum effect ( photos ) . Spotlessly clean with attractive furniture . Perfect for two. Would recommend.
This is a one bedroom cottage, everything you need for your stay. Very clean and tidy. Lovely hosts Patrick and Helen. Book your stay you will not be disappointed. I will definitely come back.
A warm and friendly welcome from the lovely owners was a great start to our stay in Carpenter’s Cottage The cottage is everything a self catering cottage should be: It was cosy, comfortable and beautifully clean with a very comfortable bed. Helen and Patrick have thought of everything to make a stay as enjoyable as possible from goodies - including fresh eggs from their hens, to a comprehensive information booklet. We are already planning our next visit and highly recommend the cottage
my wife and I have just returned from spending an excellent mini break stay at carpenters cottage.the premises are spotless clean with every facility one could wish or hope for.it is ideally situated in the lovely market town of pocklington with everything close to hand ie places to eat and drink which are all in easy walking distance of the cottage, even for two old timers like us, and also for tripping out to places like York, beverly, and the east coast.both Helen and Patrick are the perfect hosts being kind welcoming and very attentive when needed to be. over the years we stayed at quite a few holiday cottages in the uk and we consider carpenters cottage to be our top of the pops and would highly recommend it .
