Silburn Lock is the next lock you come to walking from pocklington Canal Head. From the Riverdale went end of the canal, this would be lock number seven. This lock has not been restored and is missing its wooden gates. Just below the lock, we spotted a family of moor hens. The area is rich with wildlife.
