Had an absolute fantastic party at the venue last night. The staff could not do enough for us. Bar staff were very efficient and pleasant. Returned this morning to pick up a few bits from party and the staff had already cleaned up and put all our things neatly in a corner. Thank you all for making my retirement party the best.

We recently attended a family wedding reception at this venue. Whilst the decor was sufficient, it was clean and spacious. Shortly after we arrived music was switched on at an undesirable volume so people either weren't talking or they were shouting, softer background music would have been better. The buffet was put out (uncovered) on a very warm day so by the time the wedding party came back from their photo session and we were invited to "help ourselves" the food has been standing quite a while. There were open sandwiches as well as closed sandwiches neither had any butter on the bread and they were very dry. The pizza and quiche had been cut into small pieces and stacked like Jenga so it was all stuck to the layer underneath and the cheese was plasticy and didn't look very appertising. We hadn't been eating long and a girl came with a black bin bag asking if we had finished 🙄 (perhaps due lack of training?) Other than that, a lovely venue with wheelchair access although I didn't see any disabled facilities.

Enquired via social media to book a children’s party in October. We pencilled in the date with them and when I went back to ask about a deposit they had blocked me. I called and the staff were rude so it’s safe to say I would be avoided them for any future events. (Very confused why this happened)

Great place for big events or just small group gatherings.

Thank you so very much to Marie and Phil for looking after us all so well at my Mum's funeral reception yesterday. You went out of your way to make an extremely difficult day more bearable. The food was amazing and everyone commented on how good it was and what a lovely venue. You made sure we were all kept safe whilst still being able to get together to remember my Mum. Thank you so much. Helen and family. xx
