First time in the town hall & despite it being an old building it had automatic door (ground level) & lift to second floor. Downstairs toilets were clean & modern with very hot water, the upstairs bar was sufficient & both rooms had wooden flooring which were OK for dancing.
We attended a Yorkshire and Area Civic Society meeting in the Nelson Room. Excellent meeting in a beautiful setting. We had tea and coffee with excellent cakes. Well worth a visit.
