Rather a longer wait for breakfast than i expected, but most of the food warm except for the beans. I had a traditional breakfast with mushrooms and hot drinks for a little over a fiver. Nothing exceptional about the building from the outside, however, deceptively large inside with a small beer garden.

Had an excellent vegetarian breakfast, all items were hot which was quite surprising as breakfasts at spoons can be hit and miss. It came in less than 10 minutes even though it was quite busy. Also had a couple of cups of good quality coffee in total for a little over £5, really can't complain it's brilliant value for money!

An excellent pub with extremely competitive prices. Well-kept cask ale at only £1.99 a pint? Can’t find that anywhere else. They even have a coming soon board to show you which beers you can look forward to. I found that on the coming soon board there were a nice variety of ales; dark, rubys and pales. I had a lovely pint of the St. Georges Day special, “Elgood’s Patron Saint” which as you can see on the photo is in very good condition. A lovely atmosphere and lovely staff who I find to be very accommodating.

Breakfast here wasnt great. Semi cooked mushrooms and tomatoes. Could have put a little more love into it. If I was a chief , id never serve it that way.
