I have been in this bar a good few times so decided to book my birthday brunch here. I was in contact with James. He took my booking and was very accommodating. He described the brunch as:- Free-flowing tapas for 90 minutes including favourites such as Patatas bravas, Crispy belly pork, sauteed chorizo, Korean chicken and much more! With a range of delicious cocktails, prosecco, wine, spirits and more. I asked if there could be water on the tables and this was there when we arrived. The staff were very attentive and constantly asking if we needed more drinks and if we needed more food. There were 22 people at the brunch and they all said the same. That they couldn’t fault it. Some friends came from Leeds who’d never been to Pontefract let alone bar 23 and said some places in Leeds would not be as attentive as here. Unfortunately I didn’t take any photos as was too busy drinking my cocktails. Would happily book here again and hope to do so in the future. Il put it onto the system now and it will send you a link to pay the deposit. Once paid the booking is confirmed. Thanks James
Lovely coffee! But food was very ordinary and my mums jacket potato had about 20 beans on it and Tony sprinkle cheese the salad that accompanied it had a horrible tasting dressing on maybe ask customer or put on the side for £25 it was not worth it!
We went for the festive bottomless brunch. The food was gorgeous and the service was outstanding! Fantastic value for money. Not our first visit and won’t be our last
Having only been in No23 for a latte, I can’t yet make a comment on the food. I did however take a tour of the interior and it is as well appointed as its sister establishment The Last Bank. The welcome I received was warm and friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. I can highly recommend No23 for a quiet getaway from the bustle of the town centre if you are looking for a good coffee or something a little more just call in at No23.
Had some food here today and it was absolutely 10/10 the whole experience was exceptional. The steak was cooked to perfection and I thoroughly enjoyed it all. Definitely one to visit
