Absolutely gorgeous tasty Sunday dinner. Succulent generous beef and pork with excellent crackling. Mouthwatering. Stuffing is just about the best I've ever tasted and I love Stuffing. Veggies are fresh and perfectly cooked loads of different fresh vegetables really spot on and the cauliflower cheese is superb. Could eat it as a meal on its own. Wine choices are superb if your wine boff you will be impressed but can just have bar drinks a cool pint or cider etc. Staff are brilliant and we have stopped going to Gauchos in Leeds now and come here because its better more delicious food more plentiful and luckily on our doorstep.

Had a good Christmas Day meal with family. My starter was delicious paid extra for the scallops, well worth it. Main course moist turkey and a fantastic piece of filet steak. Nice mix of veg from glazed carrots to crisp roasted potatoes. My only feedback and this is a personal thing I like the veg and gravy served separately not on the plate but I understand they had 2 sittings to cater for. It was well worth the money and would definitely return. A round of applause to kitchen and front of house staff for making an enjoyable Christmas Day,

Excellent food - all our mains were superb! The steak was particularly luscious, but the others were also top notch. Desserts were tasty and the Eton Mess was both large and delicious. It's a fairly small menu, so maybe check it out before you go if you are fussy. There was a decent wine selection and good coffee. A great place for a special meal.

First time going out for Xmas dinner in 10 years and the service was absolutely bob on! Food came in a timely manner, service was excellent and the food was great! We will deffo be returning! Thanks to everyone for making this a great Xmas!

Service in the best possible way. Always there when you want them but not in your face. Sunday lunch was good and at £160 for 4 With wine drinks and dessert was good value. Best place in Pontefract by far.
