Well 5 golden stars out of 5. Visited 02/11/25 12pm 1st, 🥇 To the Trolly Lad, he saw me struggling as I had a locked up wheel, he stopped and said would tell his supervisor, and apologised for the inconvenience. Wow. 2nd. Very clean store. Probably cleanest I’ve seen. 3rd. I absolutely loved the robot Hoover what stopped when customers were in front of it. Turned around and carried on its route. ( should name it and put some decals onit) 4. Easy to use new self serve checkouts. With the receipt exit. An old gent on his scooter got confused. I said I’m not gunna kick it in because it’s decent. Used my voice like a foghorn, 😂. “ Can a staff member open the barrier for the gentleman please” Just like magic it opened. 5. It may need a corrugated plastic sign around the chrome pole it’s mounted on, (as it’s not obvious) that you have to scan your receipt to exit. Finally. The most well presented store I’ve ever been in to be honest. Well done Morrisons Pontefract. All the staff, Richard Mcbride the store manger.
Given the car park for town has morrisons trolley drop offs in it, I'm assuming they own it. Good value, but cash payment only, and no change or refunds. I end up having to pay extra every time.
