I had a very nice experience with this car park. I came woth my wife for a scan and when we finished we put the ticket into the machine and it was saying parking is valid. Big was my surprise realising we stayed under 20 minutes and we didn't have to pay anything. Anyway the first hour is £2 so not expensive.
Not bad when I usually go there, went to get a blood test recently and I'm autistic and struggle with needles, the nurse was pretty rude to me and my mother, not professional and said I was being immature and babies did it yap yap
We had to park on street as was told by nurses if we STOLE staffs places they would fine usas ALL THE SPOTS ARE THERE PRIVATE PARKING even tho it said pay and display 😢
FREE PARKING? - It's not obvious what you need to do to park and pay here. While I was reading the puzzling sign at the pay machine, a nurse told me you don't need to pay anyway. "If you just slowly drive up to the exit barrier, it opens, no need to pay." 🤷🏼♂️ (That's what I did, and it worked.) How a hospital car park ends up as a profit seeking business venture is beyond me. This is praying on the ill and vulnerable. Do not pass go, do not collect £200.
Ample parking and the costs are quite reasonable.
