Came for the first time last week couldn’t fault the staff then all were very helpful and polite. Then when had to come back this week was delighted with a horrible rude blonde haired older woman on the front desk. Arrived at 9:30am and could tell she didn’t want to be there from the get go had a stinking attitude and miserable face was so rude to an elderly lady rushing her clearly she was hard of hearing and then shouting all her business to people in front of customers behind as well as doing this with me. Rushing everyone, slagging customers off to colleagues. Why on earth work in a customer service role if you have absolutely no customer service skills and it’s clear all the other reviews on here have seen how rude you are and no doubt it’s the same individual. You have no patience with anyone and god forbid you ask more than one question you look at them in disgust even though your paid to do that job!!! You should honestly leave and find something else that’s not people facing and it will make the place better as you seriously let it down
Called into this branch for the first time on Saturday 8th March to discuss details of a family bereavement with a gentleman called Lee. I have to pause here and try and think of the best way of saying how I feel about the service Lee provided that morning. Wow what a guy! I think that best sums it up. Honestly the nicest guy I think I have ever met. So helpful, nothing was too much to ask. I needed to verify my identity to be able to to talk to the Halifax bereavement team, he did this for me and stayed with me during a lengthy telephone conversation. In what where difficult times he showed fabulous customer service and care. I would have been lost without him that morning. Well done Lee. Customer service: 10/10 Attention to detail: 10/10 Presentation: 10/10
Vile staff in there no customer service manager is no better. No idea how to treat elderly customers , with any luck the branch will close and they’ll be out of a job fingers crossed!
I called into the Pontefract branch this morning, I needed some help with my accounts. I spoke with a young lady called Ariane, she was extremely helpful and sorted my issue in no time. She is to be commended for her customer service, it was excellent
I called in to this branch today to ask advice on paying money in to my ISA the first woman I spoke to on the counter was just unhelpful and basically told me to do it on the Halifax App, I asked to see someone to advise me, after a short wait I was seen buy another female member of staff who had a bad attitude, was patronising and had no customer service skills, again just wanting me to sort it myself via the App, what these people need to realise is not everybody is comfortable with technology and sometimes like a bit of advice for a human! While I was in the branch I witnessed another older gentleman being treated in exactly the same way by a staff member who could be bothered to help him....shocking customer service at the Pontefract Halifax branch.
